Poverty can force people to do desperate and harmful things that cast a shadow of darkness over our world.

I, too, became a victim of this cruel reality when I endured a horrific experience of rape. The pain and scars I carried from that ordeal led me to share my story through writing. My hope is that my book serves as a powerful lesson for all, a lesson that poverty can lead to unimaginable suffering.

I believe my book can be a beacon of hope, a way to fight against the destructive force of poverty that shatters dreams and lives all around the globe. Together, through the words on these pages, we can shed light on the darkness that poverty creates and work toward a brighter future for everyone.
